Little Falls, NY – The Creative Outpost, Inc. is shining a spotlight on its innovative intern program as it prepares for the Mohawk Valley Gives Campaign. With the UpMobility Foundation’s 3:1 match incentive (up to $50,000) for donations from September 15-19, 2025, gifts made at https://www.givemv.org/organizations/the-creative-outpost-inc will triple in impact, directly funding hands-on media training for Mohawk Valley youth.

Since 2022, the intern program has equipped high school and college students with skills in video editing, graphics, teleprompter operation, and live-streaming production. Interns have brought events like the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs collegiate baseball team and Herkimer Originals ABA basketball team to live audiences, gaining professional experience while amplifying community stories.

Intern Evan Martyniuk shared, “This program has been life-changing. Over two years, I’ve grown from a novice to a confident media creator.”

“Our interns are shaping the future of media in the Mohawk Valley,” said David E. Warner, Executive Director of The Creative Outpost, Inc. “With Mohawk Valley Gives, we can empower more young people to tell our region’s stories.”
