Another film crew made the trek to Little Falls to shoot scenes for an upcoming movie called “Cherry Baby,” produced by Adam Holley and New Hollywood Films.
Shawn Uebele had worked on another film in Little Falls this summer and was the location scout for Holley. “I’ve worked on projects with him in the past, and I reached out to him to work on this project. I knew he had access to a police car, which was perfect for the movie, and he said Little Falls would be a great place to film those scenes,” Holley stated.
“He’s filmed here before and he said it was very film-friendly, and I said, sounds great, let’s do it.”
Holley said the film is a thriller. “It’s about a young woman who works in a small-town diner. She’s trying to move on with her life and meets a friend who just got out of jail. Her ex-boyfriend, who is nothing but trouble, returns to town. He’s obsessed with her, and they try to escape him.”
“They get themselves into trouble. She gets pulled over, and that’s where Shawn comes in, and we have a little shoot out,” he said.
Holley stated, “This is a pivotal scene in the movie where things really go south. Everything that was working according to their plan shifts now, and everything goes downhill.”
“It was a wonderful experience, and yes, we went down Main St and filmed a bit. Then we visited the Italian community bake oven. I love Little Falls,” he said.
